We’re so young. We’re so young. We’re twenty-two years old. We have so much time.

to those who are recent grads, this article I think sums up some things very accurately. (to the not-so-long-ago-grads and soon-to-be grad probably relevant as well)

what makes it even more poignant is that the author died recently in a car accident after graduating from Yale this May. in some ways, her early death contradicts her own writing. she says “we’re so young. we’re so young. we’re twenty-two years old. we have so much time.” and yet she died young which reminds us all, 22, younger or not, that while we may be young we never know when we might leave this world.
